🎯 Background & Goals
During the ongoing war in Israel, many civilians are silently suffering from symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and stress—some without even realizing it. In response to this growing mental health crisis, the Resilience Center at Kibbutzim College (SMKB) took action. Their mission: to identify those in need and guide them toward appropriate support channels.
🧠 The Solution
SMKB researchers developed a diagnostic tool that delivers immediate feedback on the presence and severity of PTSD, depression, and stress symptoms. To make this possible, they turned to Polyeda, a powerful platform for building responsive, user-friendly data collection tools.
Using Polyeda, the team was able to:
✅ Apply an advanced scoring system to calculate the level of symptoms based on responses.
✅ Implement adaptive flows to personalize feedback for each respondent.
✅ Provide full multi-language support to ensure accessibility for diverse populations.
The result was a fast, effective tool that could be launched in real-time, addressing urgent needs in the field.
📈 Impact
To date, hundreds of individuals have used the Polyeda-powered tool—many taking their first step toward recognizing their symptoms and seeking help. The project will continue through the end of the year, with plans to expand into more diverse populations and additional regions—particularly cities near war zones, where the need is greatest.
